台灣花蜂是由一群科學家共同發起的一個計畫，目的是想讓大家能更深入認識這個島嶼上的花蜂家族。藉由這個網站平台，我們希望不論是研究人員或一般大眾，都能一起參與來認識這一群迷人又重要的授粉昆蟲。​這個網站的主體雖然是台灣花蜂名錄，我們同時也想讓大家認識正在進行中有關台灣花蜂的研究計畫。

The bees of Taiwan is a project started by a community of scientists with the goal of better understanding the island's fauna. We seek to use this digital platform to engage both researchers and the public with this fascinating and critical group of pollinating insects. The primary element of this website is a checklist of Taiwan's bee diversity, but we also aim to bring awareness to important bee projects happening in the country.
